This brand new book (published in December 2021) is self published by the Belgian born Jeroen Van Nieuwenhove. It offers a uniquely personal perspective of his journeys to the volcano as he made 44 visits and was there the day the eruption started and also witnessed the very end.

Unlike our best selling On Fire, it is not written from an educational perspective but much rather offers a story in pictures and texts descriptive of what it felt like being there and witnessing every different phase of the eruption.
