Bókin tekur til meðferðar byggðir á höfuðborgarsvæðinu og í þéttbýli á Suður- og Suðvesturlandi. Horft er yfir byggðirnar úr lofti eins og þær voru sumarið og haustið 2020.

Einnig er farið aftur í tímann og allmörg svæði birtast eins og þau voru fyrir 35-45 árum síðan. Sýndar eru breytingar á nokkrum jöklum frá miðjum áttunda áratugnum og fram til nútímans.

This book shows the Capital area of Reykjavik and the neighboring communities from the air. Urban areas, towns and villages of South- and Southwest Iceland are shown as they appeared in summer and fall of 2020. There are also examples of these places from the same or similar viewpoints, comparing them from the mid seventies to what they are today. Dramatic changes at some glaciers are also presented over time.
